2nd Annual Samish Watershed Garden Tour a big hit
Friday Creek Stewards join with Skagit Conservation District, Chuckanut Transition
On Sunday, August 12, 2012, we joined forces with Skagit Conservation District and Chuckanut Transition to sponsor a tour of gardens nestled within the Samish Watershed. Tour goers got a glimpse of "real gardens" and "real gardeners" many of whom make a living from their home site gardens. Featured gardens were Bill & Gilda Gorr; Bud & Sylvia Weber (Steward co-founders); Earth Mamas-MaryAnn Dupree & Dave Crabb; Namaste Garden; Sarai & Mike Stevens; Sarah Bishop. It was so much fun, we plan to do it again. Check out our Upcoming Event's Page
